10 Things You May Not Know About Walt Disney World

Hello, Disney lovers! Do think you know everything about Walt Disney World? Well, think again. There are many interesting things about Disney World you may or may not know. Here are 10 facts about the most magical place on earth!

1.Cast Members are not allowed to point with one finger. They can either point with two fingers or their hand, but they are never allowed to just point with one.

2.Epcot has room for eight more Showcases. When Epcot opened, there were 10 spots available for 10 more countries. Since then, Disney has added Norway and Morocco. I think it is time for Disney to start building some more Showcases.

3.There is never a trash can more than 30 steps from you in the parks.

4.All of Disneyland can fit in Magic Kingdom’s parking lot, and there would  still be room for 500 cars. That means the parking lot is VERY, VERY big.

5.Even though they are talked about in Animal Kingdom, there are actually no hyenas in the park.  They are considered too dangerous to be kept safely at Animal Kingdom.

6.Walt Disney World is the size of San Francisco or two Manhattans.

7.Disney Imagineers watched 156 epsiodes of The Twilight Zone for inspiration when they were creating Hollywood Studios’ Tower of Terror.

8.There are tunnels under Magic Kingdom, so Cast Members can move to different lands.

9.Though it is illegal, some people  actually attempt to spread ashes of the deceased on rides every year. Talk about disgusting!

10.You cannot not buy gum anywhere in Disney World. Though you can bring it to the parks, Disney does not sell gum.

Have a magical evening! °o°
