Hello, everyone! Today, I have a different type of post because Madi from love, madi girl is a guest blogger on my blog! 7 Components of Being Happy
1. Address your fears and have courage.
It definitely is super hard going through hard times, when it seems like nothing is going your way. Fears often jump out at us in the worst possible times of life, and wreck havoc in our already busy lives. However, once you are aware of your fears, and learn not to be ignorant, it is the first and most necessary step to success. It isn’t always easy to completely conquer those fears you have, but a better control leads to more happiness in our life 🙂
2. Know that you are you.
You were made with a very specific purpose in life. Never deny that. Each challenge and trial in our life was placed in order to help us come out stronger and better than before. By comparing yourself to others, you are only knocking yourself down in your own mind. The harshest critic we have is ourselves. Have confidence in the person you are, and know that you are beautiful, in every single way and aspect. Never compare yourself to the girl next to you, or the supermodel on the cover of Vogue. By embracing the beautiful person you really are, it’ll improve your day drastically.
3. Stay organized.
In everything you do, whether it be school, work, or random DIYs, organization is everything. Stress levels peak when one cannot find anything in a sea of papers, pens, empty wrappers, and other odds and ends.
Even getting separate folders and compartments to keep extra things in will improve the level of your daily comfort, as well as lowering your stress levels and improving life in general 🙂
4. Stay on top of assignments and projects.
Like the previous tip before, the better you are at staying on top of assignments and projects, the better you’ll do in the long run. Get a planner, or even use your phone calendar to your advantage.
Less stress = better day in general
It is a no brainer that people who exercise feel better about themselves. You don’t need to go to the gym… Just go for a run in your neighborhood, or even do bodyweight workouts in your own living room. Seeing the changes that become so much apparent on your mental and physical health can make your outlook on life so much better.
6. Set goals.
If you change your habits from no exercise to exercise, you can definitely set goals for yourself.
Where do you want to be in one year… Or two… Or 10?? Just writing them down isn’t enough. Imagine yourself there, and never give up on them.
Whether your goals are practical or not, set those goals and be confident in them. Make them a part of you. Never let your goals slip from your grasp.
7. Spend time with family!!
In the end, family is all you have. Even if you have a tough relationship, do all you can to build it up, even if it means giving in a little bit sometimes. You and your family will always have issues, but a strong relationship is one of the most important things in the world.
